HR advice and ongoing support
Someone to talk it through with. Practical help to move it forward.
People questions rarely arrive at a convenient time. Whether you are working through an employee concern, unsure how to approach a conversation, or trying to make your HR processes more consistent, I can help you work out the next step.
Support can include
- Advice on employee and manager concerns.
- Coaching before difficult conversations.
- Performance expectations, feedback, and documentation.
- Job descriptions, onboarding, and people processes.
- Policy reviews and guidance as your workplace changes.
A working arrangement that fits
We can work together on a specific issue or agree on ongoing support. For regular support, we will define the included work, available hours, response expectations, and any additional fees before we begin.
Larger projects can be scoped separately so you know what is included.
Questions employers ask
What does fractional HR mean?
Fractional HR means you get part of an experienced HR person’s time instead of a full-time hire. You pay for the hours you use, and the same person works with you each month.
What is the difference between HR consulting and HR outsourcing?
HR consulting is advice and project work: a handbook, an investigation, a hard termination. HR outsourcing hands an ongoing function to someone outside the business. Ongoing HR support sits between the two. I handle the people work you would give an HR manager, and you keep the decisions.
Is ongoing support cheaper than hiring an HR manager?
For most small and mid-sized businesses, yes. You pay for the hours you need, with no salary, benefits or office space. When you grow to the point where HR is a full-time job, I can help you hire for it.
